Kyäni Sunset is a proprietary combination of tocotrienols (the most potent form of vitamin E), Omega-3s derived from Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon (the purest source in the world), Beta Carotene (a natural source of Vitamin A), and the essential Vitamin D. The health benefits of tocotrienols, Omega-3, Beta Carotene, and Vitamin D are well documented by medical professionals and researchers. Kyäni Sunset offers unparalleled nutritional support to the body’s vital systems including cell health and support for the cardiovascular and immune systems. Comprised of only lipid-soluble nutrients, Sunset is intended for evening use when the body’s lipid activities are at their peak. Sunset gives the body what it needs when it needs it.
Because of this, Kyäni Sunset is the perfect nutritional complement to water-soluble nutrients offered by Kyäni Sunrise.
Dr. Barrie Tan earned his bachelors degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Otago, New Zealand. He later became a professor of Chemistry and Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Dr. Tan was the first to introduce the benefits of tocotrienols to the nutraceutical industry after he discovered all three sources of tocotrienols (palm, rice, and annatto). In 1998, he founded American River Nutrition, Inc. and developed the first ever tocopherol-free tocotrienol product derived from annatto beans. His research expertise include lipid-soluble materials such as tocotrienols, tocopherols, omega 3s, CoQ10, carotenoids, and cholesterol.
Today, Dr. Tan continues to be the world’s leading expert in tocotrienols. The focus of research is phytonutrients that have an impact on chronic and degenerative diseases. He has published numerous articles. Dr. Tan was recently elected to be the Senior Editor of the second edition of the book Tocotrienols: Vitamin E Beyond Tocopherols. Dr. Tan also serves on Kyani’s Scientific Advisory Board.
